THE ULTIMATE GOLF LESSON
The Golf Academy Simulator forms the central part of the Golf Academy. It provides the ultimate in teaching tools, allowing for accurate practice and realistic teaching. The ball flight is true and the shots that the student hits are actually seen on the screen.
The system features three main practice and teaching areas, in addition to the courses– the Virtual Range, Virtual Chip and Virtual Putt.
The Padel n sports simulator system is a state of the art, camera based golf simulator. Up until now simulators have worked by using sensors of some form. Generally they will use a light break system to track the club-head. Ball flight is then ‘guessed’ from the club information. This is a very inaccurate way of simulating ball flight.
The Padel n Sports system uses HIGH SPEED CAMERAS, tracking the golf ball in much the same way as ‘Hawk Eye’ does in the tennis and cricket. One is mounted in the ceiling; it tracks ball speed, direction and spin. The second is mounted at floor level to the side, this tracks vertical launch angle and ball speed. A 3D model of flight is therefore produced from stationary ball on the tee to impact of the screen.
The result is a amazingly accurate ball flight and a indoor golf experience that is second to none. It is realistic and the shot that you hit, is what is depicted on the screen. If you hit a shank, you see a shank!
The system is widely used for Club Fitting and as the integral part of a teaching academy. Only now with such accuracy and realism, can a simulator be used for teaching.
